Shipping - Cancellation - Returns Policy

Until further notice ALL ITEMS purchased at J & J Supply and Rentals are FINAL SALE. No item can be returned or exchanged. This is due to the current COVID19 Virus Situation. Also once an order is processed if it is then cancelled before shipping or picking up, there is a $25 service fee to take care of credit card fees and paperwork. Pick Up orders can only be cancelled within 24 hours only. Otherwise all orders are FINAL SALE once placed.


If ordering a product to be picked up and its cancelled after the order has been processed by our site, the minimum charge for any cancellation is $25. In regards to ordering a ordering a rental item, if cancelled within 24 hours there is a $25 fee. If canceled after 24 hours, your order is non-refundable. 

 In regards to any returns. J & J offers exchange or store credit for all orders with proper paperwork within 30 days of order.

 If your item was shipped to you, you may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a refund of your money less a 25% restocking and handling charge. Certain items that can not be returned are , "All Chemicals, Food, Sale or Clearance Items to name some. If you are not sure if your item falls under the "Can Not Be Returned" category, we suggest you inquire before purchasing. The buyer will also be responsible for all shipping charges. If you purchased online and then returned it to our store and item is unused and in its original packaging, you will be given a store credit for the amount returned less any shipping charges. Shipping charges will be the responsibility of the buyer.

For customers shipping items, You should expect to receive your refund via store credit within 2-3 weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund sooner. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 7 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (2 to 3 business days), and the time it takes for us to process your refund request (1 to 2 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. All refunds are for store credit only. Please note in regards to damaged packages received. You must notify J & J in writing within 24 hours of receiving your damaged item. We will respond to you within the next business day. If you do not notify us in writing within the 24 hours, we will not be able to help you or verify your damages.




We ship to the 48 states by UPS Ground and sometimes USPS. If you are ordering from Alaska or Hawaii, additional shipping charges will be required. Please call or email for more information before ordering. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped like Dry Ice and some food items. On some items during certain times of the year some items may be effected by the weather. In these cases the buyer is taking full responsibility and ordering at their own risk that that item could melt or become deformed. Most items that fall in to this category are marked but if you would like to know if your product falls under this category during the time period you are ordering please ask us before ordering. We can not control certain temperatures for certain chemicals or food items. We do the best we can to pack items properly and in some cases add dry ice to help keep product okay but in certain cases there may be an issue with an item that is being shipped to a location especially on the West Coast of the US. In most cases our shipment will take 5 business days which also could result in your item being in the hands of shipping companies for over 1 week. So please keep this in mind when ordering.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Please note that you the customer is agreeing that once the packages are given to the shipping company, J & J is not responsible for any damages , late or missing items. You must contact the shipper for those claims, they will be the responsible party once items are released by J & J to them. If a package or packages are lost by the shipper and once it is figured out by the shipper what has happened, J & J will then re-ship the item to the customer. If the customer re-fuses to accept a second shipment, then J & J can offer the customer a store credit for a future purchase but will not refund money back. Store Credit Only. The customer will not be able to cancel order if J & J has made a good faith effort in resolving the situation. If J & J is in the process of packing and or re-shipping an order and it is refused by the customer, the customer is agreeing to pay all shipping cost (to and from)  J & J. and a  25% restocking and handling charge. If you need assistance with tracking info, etc please let us know.If we ship with our truck and get to a delivery, the customer must be present to sign for the order. If there is nobody to sign for your order or business is closed J & J can not leave the items. The customer will be responsible for a re-delivery charge of $35 or will need to pick up the product within 48 hours or incur a service charge of $50. The exact item or items must be picked up. You can not exchange or swap any items. Any items purchased on the website are subject to different terms than our physical location. Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.


Also J & J retains the option on ALL ORDERS that if an item is out of stock we retain the right to either have the item dropped ship from our manufacturer or to ship the item as soon as it becomes available to us. J & J does not guarantee and specific date or time an order will be delivered and the customer agrees to understanding that.So please before ordering, give us a call and inquire to see if there will be any delay in your product getting to you


 Disputes On Credit Cards 


In regards to any disputes on your credit card purchase. If at any time the customer disputes a charge on their purchase with J & J Party & Janitorial Supplies, and it has been found that J & J is not at fault, there will be a service charge of $100 that will be due J & J from that customer. That customer will need to make payment immediately. If payment is not made immediately, there will be an additional $50 late fee. The customer will then be responsible for any additional late fees, court cost or legal fees it takes to collect the balance owed. The customer will also be charged 18% interest  annually on any amount owed. All legal action can only take place in the State of New Hampshire.
